Science is....whatever we want it to be

For a mild hypochondriac like myself, WebMD can be both a blessing and a curse: I can easily check to see what my symptoms could mean, but unfortunately they list ALL the diseases and I usually have a freak-out moment where I'm convinced I have cancer/rubella/asian-monkey flu until I realize that I have a sore throat from smoking too much. Heh, silly me.
I also love to see what the top searches are, to see what parts of their body the rest of the world is poking at and thinking, "Has that always been like that?" Apparently, the second most frequently read article is for "Small Penis Syndrome," a condition that affects 85% of men who worry that their junk is too small. And while there has been research to understand why this phenomena has occurred in modern society, no one is looking for the answer to the true question: Who are the men who make up the other 15% and where do they hang out?
