All bundled up in bubble wrap.
I broke down and bought a new computer.
Oh sweet lord, it's so beautiful, I could cry.
My old computer was a Dell that worked wonderfully for the entire 90 days of my warranty, and then proceeded to crap out steadily from then on. I'm not even exaggerating: on the 93rd day I had half the screen disappear. Just...gone.
Now not only do I need to learn how to use all these new, fancy features (webcam? DVD burner? Back in my day we had to walk in the snow to watch movies or play into our voyeuristic desires....uphill, both ways!).
And then, of course, there is the love that dare not speak its name: World of Warcraft.
I have never been so excited at the prospect of becoming a total shut-in.
