Ringing in the new year
The New Year's Eves of my past have never really fared well for me. For the past few years I've been ringing in the new year alone and generally without power (it's not a good time of year in this area, weather-wise). This year I have an invitation to go to Redding with J and her boyfriend and attend her family's party. It would be nice to meet up with some people I haven't seen in awhile, but it would mean spending another three day weekend in Redding without a car (my parent's house is quite a distance from the actual town). Not to mention I have a ton of work left to do for the move.
But if I stay, I won't have any plans, other than packing. I may possibly go out with the Moomie (if he doesn't go to Redding as well) or Zack, but nothing definate.
Man, I hate this time of year.
