Even though it didn't seem like it could, the Moomie's life just got a lot more complicated. Police finally figured out what happened in regards to the death of Moomie's mother a few months ago: she was killed by Moomie's father. And when the police went to arrest him, Moomie's father killed himself before they could do anything.
I don't even know what to do to help him. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose one parent, let alone both, and then to have this horrible incident tied to it. What do you say to someone who has had their entire family disintegrate within four months?
And it seems like everyone I know is going through some sort of crisis at the moment. Whether it's a sick parent, or the death of a friend, or their own emotional problems, there just seem to be so many people I care about going through such hard times right now. All I want is to be able to do or say something to help them, but even if they are living in the same apartment or on the other side of the planet, I know there's nothing I can do to truly help.
