Like sands through the hourglass...

Man, things have been changing. Not for me, mind you, but for those around me. My friend K had her baby, a little boy named Sawyer (which is a MUCH better name than Oscar, the name she originally had in mind). I did go see her in the hospital because (a)I have panic attacks in hospitals (don't ask) and (b)she just went through 13 hours of all-natural labor, so she wasn't one for socializing. I still haven't seen the baby. See, I'm scared of babies. I'm not scared like I'm afraid the babies will crawl along the floor and gnaw my feet off (though that is a scary thought), but I'm more scared that I'm going to break the baby, that I will accidentally drop the child and somehow soccer kick them right in the soft spot. Or make some inappropriate child molester joke, ensuring that in twenty years the kid will climb a bell tower with a high-powered rifle to partake in some human target practice. Oh well, I can't avoid the kid forever.
And the the Moomie and his teen bride have decided to get a divorce. Turns out marrying a teenager is not a good idea. Huh.
(And I need to come up with a new name for her other than "teen bride" as she is no longer a teen or a bride. How about "post-adolescent divorcee"?)
I, on the other hand, have been making stuff like crazy because why should you actually experience life when you can make useless baubles?:
