My new job.
So, the new job. It's not nearly as scary as I thought it might be. In fact, the work is easy. Really, really easy. And the people seem nice, though not exactly my kind of people. I'm working in the advertising department, so my coworkers are very perky. Everything they say ends in an exclamation point. This is how you enter the information! The bathroom is over there! Here is a stapler for your desk! It's a little alarming. They are not what I would call "my people".
I think the copy editors are more my type: they wander in around 1pm, sit at their desks in the corner listening to their headphones all day and laughing at other people's typos. Now I just need to figure out how to get one of those positions.
